We have been producing high quality filter bags, for aquariums, since 1991. Our products are supplied to wholesalers, maintenance specialists, and retail stores. We presently manufacture the products, for marine and tropical fish tanks, described below:
Our round pre-filter sponge (which is used in overflow boxes) is 6x2-3/4” with a 1” center hole. This open cell sponge will give you a better water flow, while consistently collecting the sludge from the aquarium.
The media bags we carry are a combination of felt and polyester mesh material sewn together. This gives the bags added strength for holding carbon or other substrates without stretching. By using these bags on the outflow of most protein skimmers, you will avoid bubbles in the sump. The media bags are available in 5x8” (7 oz. weight material) and 7x16” (10 oz. weight material).
Our filter pads are both 36x60” in size. The heavy weight pad has a 10 oz. density. This is twice as thick as most others out there on the market today. We now offer a thinner pad (7 oz. weight) at a slightly lower cost. These products are similar to any “cut your own pad” used for wet-dry filtration systems but are much more absorbent.
Also available are 7x7”and 9x9” six-pack pre-cut filter pads made from the 7 oz. felt material. These are predominantly used in wet-dry filter trays.
Our Velcro© close bags are made from two kinds of polyester mesh material. The finer material is in the interior, with a coarser material on the outside. They are available in two sizes: 4.5x8” and 11x11”.
The nylon bags that we manufacturer are sewn with a five-string merrow machine with a full safety stitch inside. These “nylon” bags are actually made from 100% polyester with a polyester tie cord. These are presently available in six sizes: 4x12, 6x12, 8x12, 6x14, 8x14, and 10x14. We will be happy to give you a price on any customized bag you desire. Bags are individually packaged, but are also available in bulk.
Our Super Bag (13x24”) is sewn exactly as our regular nylon bags but is made from a coarser mesh material, which is the same 16 mesh material used on the outside of our Velcro© close bags. This bag is supplied with both a cord and plastic pull-ties.
